The Watkins Insurance Agency story is one of family and dedication, spanning generations. It all began in 1969 when Gary Watkins, the matriarch, established the agency. In 1987, his wife, Peggy, joined the team, further strengthening their family-run business. Then, in 2010, their daughter-in-law, Julie, became an integral part of the agency.
A new chapter, same commitment
After Peggy's passing in 2018, Gary retired, enjoying the well-deserved fruits of his labor. In 2023, Gary and Peggy's youngest son, David, took the helm of the business alongside his wife, Julie. Together, David and Julie continue the family legacy, ensuring the Watkins Insurance Agency remains a trusted name in Doniphan, MO, and beyond.
